Selling AI Art on Print on Demand

Selling AI Art on Print on Demand

Probably lot of people wonder whatever can you sell AI Art at multiple different websites and the answer is yes you can, some allow it and some don’t – but luckily instead of going through every single one I am compiling all the sites here where you can start selling your AI images on Print on demand websites. Also check out my previous article about Selling AI Generated Art if you want some extra earnings.

Pay attention where you are prompting your images however, not all the services give you commercial rights without a subscription (if you have Midjourney sub for instance you are okay to go).

TeePublic is a site specialized mostly selling in t-shirts and hoodies, they offer also hats, stickers, magnets and other small accessories as well, but main draw here definitely is the shirts. Compared to other sites you don’t have a control over the prices so TeePublic mandates the default prices and when you publish new image it will go to a small discount for 2 days, which we could consider a promotional period.

Compared to some other print on demand sites they don’t have as wide category of products on sale, but publishing your content here is probably fastest and easiest out of the bunch.

Redbubble is an excellent choice for AI content as well because they got such a wide variety of clothing and accessories that they allow creators to sell via their market. You have lot of freedom over your own prices as well, which means you can set custom % commission for each category and item you sell.

Zazzle is another old school print on demand service that offers more than 100 over product types to integrate your AI art into, such as mugs, postcards, poker cards, golf balls, wall clocks, magnets, acrylic keychains, clothing and much more.

If you are looking for a specific niche you may go for Displate which sells metal based posters of designs, they also do have some other slight variants like glass versions. However with Displate you have to apply to become a creator and not everyone will get accepted in.

Society6 is another place where you can publish AI content including Wall Art, Accessories, Tapestries, stickers, water bottles and many clothing pieces. There is a limitation of 10 designs for their free model, but if you pay more you can submit more art to this platform that you can sell.

  • Review time: Instant
  • Submission Criteria: Low requirements
  • Payment Minimum: 0$
  • Payment Methods: PayPal
  • Website: https://society6.com/

Spreadshirt is another massive on demand clothing retailer that you can use, however they are historically known for doing bit of censorship on certain subjects and you might get false flagged on your designs as well, so personally i haven’t had the greatest experience with them in the past, but if you know your designs are kosher then you should have no issue.

  • Review time: N/A
  • Submission Criteria: Some censorship & requirements apply
  • Payment Minimum: 10$
  • Payment Methods: PayPal
  • Website: https://www.spreadshirt.com/

Respective AI policies with websites may change so expect perhaps more sites to be open for AI submissions in future unless regulation comes into effect. If i’m missing anything from here drop an email to [email protected]
