Earlier in July, we saw the first transition into Alt Season with a rally of Ethereum and many other assets outside of Bitcoin. This has created a wave inside multiple airdrop ecosystems and is pushing them to finally launch their tokens at the prime time of the Altcoin season that will take place during August to September, most likely, and might slightly expand beyond that.
In this article, we will go through some big events and the next airdrops you need to farm to become a millionaire during this cycle.
Big Macro Airdrops in August-September Timeline
There are a couple of big projects that are positioning themselves to launch during the August-September time window, capitalizing on the recent altcoin rally. This list includes both confirmed and speculated projects that are planned for eventual TGE.
- Linea Announcement – On July 29th, Linea finally announced the tokenomics for the project, which looks very good given that there isn’t massive VC exposure or massive allocations to the actual team. Given the timetable, I think we are going to see Linea Allocation checkers happen by mid-August, and a week or two later, the actual drop will commence, which is 9% of the supply, and dapp builders getting 1% of the allocation as well.
- Metamask Airdrop – Of course, Metamask is an internal part of the Linea ecosystem, and it would make sense that they will be launching a token after Linea does, and this could fit into the September launch, or perhaps slightly further, given the market conditions, but we are certain that this token will launch on the Linea blockchain.
- Pump.Fun – This project did the actual TGE already, but they also promised that an eventual airdrop would happen. It’s hard to say how far away it is, but in theory, it could be as early as September.
- Opensea – The XP Voyage campaign has been ongoing for some time now, and I think it’s most likely that an airdrop will occur either end of summer or end of September.
- Abstract – A Lot of rumours that Abstract airdrop #1 will be taking place during August, and I personally believe they are going to break it in a few seasons, maybe two or three.
- Mitosis – This project will likely finally come to a close after a multitude of different phases in its overtly long, grindy airdrop campaign.
- Monad – I can’t see why Monad wouldn’t capitalize the current altcoin season highs and launch their token finally, or at least transition into the mainnet phase. Please check our Monad Testnet Guide if you haven’t already.
There are some other things, like Avantis starting a foundation Twitter account, which suggests TGE might be close. We also have the launches of Solana Seeker Phone, SuiPlay console, SolPlay Console, and Pulse DePin wristband, which might yield airdrops on their own.
The New Big Valuable Airdrops That Should Be Your Target Next
Okay, so let’s look into some of the big airdrops that you should be farming right now, whether you are new to farming or you have done some in recent history. There is a good mix of different drops in this month’s list that are both ones that require capital and ones that do not require any.
- PirateNation – Cool Arcade game currently in Abstract that has one free play when you sign up, and for additional tries you gotta pay some extra ETH, this can accumulate you points in this game and also for the eventual Abstract airdrop.
- Pharos Network (Testnet) – High-value testnet project worth grinding that has raised over 8 million dollars in previous VC raises.
- EthOS – Interesting new Social DeFi Experiment that might be amounting to something.
- DoodlesUp – New Telegram Miniapp project by Doodles NFT Collection, and this one most likely will give some $DOOD rewards by the end of the journey.
- Camp Network (Testnet) – Another quite popular testnet airdrop target that has raised almost 30 million dollars in previous VC rounds.
- Meteora – The biggest liquidity player under Solana, technically could be more valuable than Jupiter itself, and they have now started point systems and rewarded retroactive users
- Base App – Something new is being cooked up by Coinbase, and that’s enough of a reason to ape in, despite the $BASE token might be years away.
- Fogo (Testnet) – A Solana Fork that I believe is using Firedance technology, which in theory, would make it a superior product to the Eclipse blockchain that recently came out and flopped badly.
- Solana ID – This could be another major airdrop under the Solana ecosystem outside Meteora this year, as there aren’t many Solana-based projects that haven’t conducted a drop yet. You can mint this ID, actually, for free if you have enough active history in the Solana blockchain.
