In today’s article, I will talk about how to monetize your groups and channels inside Telegram and start to generate passive revenue via multiple methods. There are four major ways to profit using Telegram and it’s broken down into advertisements, selling or creating bots & mini apps, flipping, and freelance – the latter three all require money or skillsets to get started so we are going to start most common and easy method which is adverts.

- Telegram Ads – This is the native advertising platform for Telegram which only displays ads in the form of groups/channels, so you’re unable to see ads that take you to external websites which makes the Telegram model quite unique, the payments are made in Toncoin which are withdrawable after you have received 10 TON, which can take a long time if you are a small channel. When you are getting started with your Telegram channel, you might want to consider advertising here to get some real subscribers to your channel. Note; that these ads will not show in your group so you’re only making money via channels through these native telegram ads.

Making money with Telegram BOTS & Miniapps
Lastly, there are of course Bots & Miniapps which are core parts of what makes Telegram great, but this is not something that anybody just can do, but if you have the skillset you do have a couple of different avenues to profit by creating bots and mini-apps inside telegram. I already mentioned that you can leverage things like Adsgram for dropping ads on your mini-app, but you can also tap into doing paid transactions on Toncoin’s blockchain, whatever that’s a booster inside a game or in-game item or something else entirely – seeing many crypto applications making decent returns with this strategy.
